Well… first post on the “new” thinkmuch anyway…
Hello… and welcome to Wigblog. I’ve had a conglomeration of website types and styles over the years, and I feel it’s time yet again for another format change. After spending some time reading up and looking around, I settled with choosing what I believe to be a best of breed piece of software called WordPress which looks to be a really nicely built tool able to handle this crazy phenomenon called “blogging”. I have always enjoyed being able to vent and share thoughts with the anonymous masses who come across my site and blogging seems to be the preferred method these days. It’s got the ability to handle multiple bloggers, so those of you who might be interested in having the ability to post your thoughts here (you know who you are). Just get in touch and I can help you get setup and started.
The most important carryover from the previous rendition of this site is probably the photo gallery which is linked to at the top of the links list on this page. I did manage to find a script to convert the previous postings from the postnuke version of thinkmuch, so all of that content has been brought over…. not that any of it was particularly exciting. 
I’m making this inaugural entry in my new blog in a new way. I’m sitting in my local Panera on my PowerBook typing away, while my wife shops in the nearby stores thinking up new wild and crazy designs for our house and all the things we’ll need to buy to make them reality. They’ve got free WiFi access here in the restaurant which is quite simple to “get on” and the speed even seems relatively decent (not that passing a bunch of text beck and forth is really taxing on an internet connection). So for those who have the desire to exchange bits away from the house, hate coffee and “pay as you go” WiFi like I do, Panera seems to be a good alternative. The food isn’t half bad either.
I hope this will be a fun forum for me to share thoughts with you and the ability exists to post comments anonymously so feel free to make comments about my ramblings.
