Now this is fun…. I remembered (and found) some old “updates” I used to send out to people. I would write up a little summary of the latest goings on in my life and send them out to a bunch of people via email and put ‘em up on a webpage as well. I guess you could say this was one of the first blogs on the net!

Anyway, I dug up these crufty old tomes and have added them to the blog here. I even date stamped them appropriately so they’ll show up in the right order. Fun stuff….

I can barely contain my excitement anymore. The PowerMac towers are LONG overdue for a revision (as of this writing, 280 days since the last update with an average of 176 days between updates). Finally some clues/news about what might be in store for the next revision is starting to surface, and boy would this kick butt if it’s true.

I know I’m going to be needing all this horsepower for the massive amounts of media shuffling (photos/video) I’ll be doing with the arrival of the little one come June.

When drawn into technology discussions, I can sometimes appear to be “religious” toward particular products and/or brands of items I happen to like. And I have no qualms about making derogatory statements about products and technologies I don’t like… which are 99.9% honest statements. I had to explain this to some folks recently, so I wanted to share for those who are interested in how my thinking works in regards to technology, and why I feel I can say some of the things I do.

Is it just me, or is this a HUGE privacy violation? It seems possible to find out who pays the property taxes for any (?) address in San Diego County. Check it out. I haven’t done any research as to whether this kind of information is available for other counties around the country.

I’m sure it’s common knowledge among most people who have been through the experience, but word on the street is that women with child have been known to suffer from weakened cognitive ability. (Was that PC enough or what?) Jess pulled something tonight that confirms this for any of you who were still doubters….
