Jess and I got to take a week off last week and went to the WorldMark Las Vegas to spend some time and use up some of our WorldMark points….

We had a nice, relaxing time… I just wish it had been longer! This will be our last getaway before Maddie’s arrival. We spent plenty of time on the strip checking out all the cool free/cheap attractions and we did a few nice, spendy things as well.

Highlights:

• Dinner at the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas
• Dinner atop the Stratosphere
• The fountains at Bellagio
• Seeing John, Shaedi & baby Austin (less than 24h old!)
• Seeing Aspen & Landon
• We Will Rock You

All in all a great time. The resort was nice… we had a condo (which we have at all WorldMark resorts) with a kitchen and everything. This place had a huge pool, multiple spas (one with waterfalls), a lazy river (a pool with a current), etc. My only complaints were that the pool area closed too early for adults (10PM) and there was only one room in the entire resort where you could get internet access.

The drive was great and marked the first road trip in our new van… fun times.
