I’m in a show…
Well... despite my thoughts to the contrary, I ended up being in a CCT show this summer. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call and invitation to come play Uncle Max in The Sound of Music on the hill opening July 6th and running through the 22nd. More info here. (No this is not a CYT show, this is CCT (it's an adult cast).) Tix can be had by calling the box office at 619/588-0206. You can mention my name, but I don't know if that will entitle you to anything special. Found writing my bio for the program a humorous exercise the other night... read on to see what I came up with.
James is ecstatic to return to the CCT stage for the 20th time since he first appeared in Oliver in 1982. He's a veteran of many CCT/CYT productions, on crew, in the orchestra, was the resident sound designer/engineer for 6 years, and of course on the stage last appearing in 2003's Music Man as Marcellus. James also played Friedreich in CCT's 1986 production of The Sound of Music. James is a computer geek by day, and is very excited for his 1 year old daughter, Madeline, to see him on stage for the first time.
